在这个瞬息万变的时代，人们对艺术文化和生活讯息的需求日益增长，策展型商业也因此融入日常生活之中。然而，传统策展形式因材料的不可复用，存储运输不便造成了大量的资源浪费。如何通过设计手法实现资源的有效利用成为亟需解决的课题。
于大宛而言，展览空间不仅是艺术的载体，更是关于可持续设计领域的又一次实践。我们冀望提升展览的实用性，从平面到立体，探索空间的无限可能性。
In this rapidly changing era, the demand for art, culture, and lifestyle information is growing, and curatorial commerce has become integrated into everyday life. However, traditional curatorial methods often result in significant resource waste due to non-reusable materials and inconvenient storage and transportation. Finding design solutions for effective resource utilization has become an urgent issue.
For Dayuan, the exhibition space is not just a vessel for art but also a practice in sustainable design. We aim to enhance the practicality of exhibitions, exploring the infinite possibilities of space from two-dimensional to three-dimensional forms

Folding Gallery 的设计灵感源于“折纸艺术”——将平面纸张通过折叠成有趣的立体造型，兼具游戏性和实用性。通过平面向立体的转化，创建一个多功能、灵活应用的展示空间。其可折叠的特性也便于运输和收纳，从而实现在城市各类空间中的有效利用。
The design of the Folding Gallery is inspired by the art of origami—transforming flat sheets of paper into interesting three-dimensional shapes through folding, combining playfulness with practicality. This transformation from two-dimensional to three-dimensional creates a multifunctional, versatile exhibition space. Its foldable nature makes it easy to transport and store, enabling effective use in various urban spaces.

盒子里的美术馆 A Gallery in a box
The design of the Folding Gallery is inspired by the art of origami—transforming flat sheets of paper into interesting three-dimensional shapes through folding, combining playfulness with practicality. This transformation from two-dimensional to three-dimensional creates a multifunctional, versatile exhibition space. Its foldable nature makes it easy to transport and store, enabling effective use in various urban spaces.

盒子里的美术馆 A Gallery in a box
“大盒子”
整体框架结构由铝型材和金属配件组合而成。因为铝型材模块具有可编辑性，其使用功能就更加灵活。展架的角度可以根据需求的空间范围而调整，左右两侧的展区也可以结合不同的配件配合展览主题更换成电子屏幕、音响或广告画布等，以达到最佳的展览效果。
“The Big Box”
The overall framework is composed of aluminum profiles and metal fittings. The editability of the aluminum modules makes them more versatile in function. The angle of the display stands can be adjusted according to the spatial requirements, and the exhibition areas on both sides can be equipped with different accessories to match the exhibition theme, such as electronic screens, speakers, or advertising canvases, to achieve the best exhibition effect.

中心位置可折叠的小盒子作为展示的视觉焦点，它可以从几乎扁平的视觉整体，快速组成一个有边界的微空间。根据不同的展览主题，盒子本身的视觉形态与内容也可以同步变换，使装置不仅在功能上满足需求，还在视觉和触觉上为人们提供丰富的感受。

“The Small Box”
The foldable small box at the center serves as the visual focal point of the display. It can quickly transform from an almost flat visual whole into a defined micro-space. The visual form and content of the box can change according to different exhibition themes, ensuring that the installation meets functional needs while also providing a rich sensory experience in terms of sight and touch.

PVC折板之间没有其它支撑件连接，而是通过严密精准的计算后在板块与板块之间预留出合适的间距，正反两面的布料再做紧密贴合。这样的设计可以做到像折纸游戏一样：折叠——开合，平面——空间的转变。
位于顶部的三角折板保留透明的材质特性，从而在展开状态下能够引入自然光线，提高内部的亮度和视觉效果。

一条牛仔裤从棉花田到成衣，经过纺纱、染色剪裁、缝合与洗涤，一点点地变成了我们熟悉的样子。伴随岁月的流逝，最终成为一件满载故事的旧牛仔裤。
A pair of jeans starts its journey from the cotton fields, undergoing spinning, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and washing to gradually become the familiar garment we know. As time passes, it eventually becomes a worn-out pair of jeans, laden with stories.

作为这个系列作品的首个议题，我们选择与可持续牛仔设计品牌 @useDEM 共同探讨。合作的 Folding Gallery ，使用了@useDEM三手再造 从城市收集的牛仔布料，与观众一同探索共创，呼吁“物尽其用" ，再次爱上自己曾经的选择，减少物质浪费，挖掘可持续生活的快乐。
The Folding Gallery serves as an artistic embodiment of sustainable living and acts as a platform connecting various other sustainability projects.
As the first topic in this series, we chose to collaborate with the sustainable denim design brand useDEM. The resulting work, "Folding Gallery" uses @useDEM's repurposed denim collected from the city. Together with the audience, we explore co-creation, advocating for the principle of "making the most of everything," rekindling appreciation for past choices, reducing material waste, and uncovering the joy of sustainable living.....

从牛仔布料中提取部分节点整合成统一的设计语言，搭配牛仔不同颜色和肌理。我们经过多次探讨、剪裁、贴合与改造，将一条条废弃的旧牛仔裤化作艺术装置，使破旧的牛仔裤重新焕发出新的生命力，从而变成传递环保精神的艺术品。

Through extensive exploration, cutting, fitting, and transformation, we turn discarded old jeans into artistic installations. This process breathes new life into worn denim, transforming it into a piece of art that embodies the spirit of sustainability.
➋ Tiny Gallery --- 有机布板
同等大小的牛仔布条并卷成圆柱形状，整齐地排列在装置的外部。模仿自然界中的有机形态，由深至浅从上到下层层递进，形成自然流畅的渐变效果。观者可以清晰地感受到牛仔布的纹理和色彩的细微差别，整体亦体现秩序与美感。每一个圆柱形布条，皆是“物尽其用”的具象表现。
Denim strips of equal size are rolled into cylindrical shapes and neatly arranged on the exterior of the installation. Mimicking organic forms from nature, the colors transition from dark to light, layering from top to bottom to create a naturally flowing gradient effect. Viewers can distinctly perceive the subtle variations in texture and color of the denim, while the overall arrangement reflects order and aesthetics. Each cylindrical strip serves as a tangible representation of the principle of "making the most of materials."
➌ Tiny Gallery --- 艺术布板
我们将牛仔裤上的的口袋、腰带、纽扣节选出来，邀请大家共同参与创作过程。将布条随机的投掷在透明画框中，最终形成一幅独特的艺术布板作品。
We selected pockets, belts, and buttons from the jeans and invited everyone to join in the creative process. Fabric strips were randomly thrown into a transparent frame, ultimately forming a unique art piece on a fabric panel.

一条牛仔裤从棉花田到成衣，经过纺纱、染色剪裁、缝合与洗涤，一点点地变成了我们熟悉的样子。伴随岁月的流逝，最终成为一件满载故事的旧牛仔裤。
